I'm a 50+ mom of three and voted one of Nova Scotia’s top fitness professionals (five years running). More importantly: I’m a real woman with a real life. I don’t chase six‑packs ... I help you feel freakin’ amazing in your body and back in the driver’s seat of your life. Q: What classes and workshops are included?
A: Live classes are offered 5 days per week and most regular classes are usually 30-45 minutes in length. All can be done from the privacy and safety of your own home. If the live class times don't work for you, the recording of the class is available for the entire week, so you can exercise at a time convenient for you.
  • Monday Madness offers a variety of specialty workouts with Deborah, and our amazing guest instructors.
  • Tuesday Strength Circuits
  • Wednesday Workouts are a variety of classes, usually Tabatas or Strength.
  • Thursday Early Bird Express Strength (30 minutes)
  • Saturday Intervals (locals can join outdoors when weather permits)
  • Specialty classes include Pilates, Zumba, Kickboxing, Yoga, Pound Fitness, Stability Ball and more.
  • Stretch & Yoga Playlist
  • Rapid Express Playlist includes 15-20 minute workouts and stretching recordings when you are really pressed for time.
  • A variety of On Demand workouts from past classes - now includes over 500 workouts to choose from!
  • Mindset, Body, Nutrition & Meal Prep workshops.
  • Connection, Check-in & Accountability (CCA) group calls 1-2 times per month for added support and community connection.

Q: How do I access the classes, workshops and Virtual Fit Camp community?
A: Once you register through one of the links above, you will be forwarded to the online platform and receive your welcome email. Once your membership and payment is confirmed, you will receive full access to the classes, video library and workshops.
In the welcome email, you will also find the link to our private (optional) Facebook community where you will find the recipe database, event reminders, fun challenges, and more!
Q: What equipment do I need?
A: Although a comfy surface like a mat and a set of handheld weights are helpful, you can get started with absolutely nothing but your body. Find anything you have that would give you a little resistance like water bottles or soup cans! You also need a device to tune into the workouts with mobile service or wifi to attend the live classes / workshops or watch the recordings.
Q: Do I have to be in shape to start?
A: Goodness no! That is why I am here - to meet you where you are NOW and help you on your own journey to wellness. I provide modifications for ALL exercises and I constantly encourage you to go at a pace that works for you.
Q: Is this challenge/program for women only?
A: Although the Virtual Fit Camp tends to mostly attract people who identify as female, please know that EVERYONE is welcome in my space, and I try to make it as safe as possible for all. I absolutely do not tolerate bullying of any kind. Although this has never been a problem with this amazing group, I am not afraid to remove anyone exhibiting non-inclusive behaviour - without refund.
Q: Do I have to pay with PayPal or Credit Card?
A: Credit card is the easiest way to sign up because you just have to click the link below. I also accept e-transfer. Please send the total amount due to info@journey2wellness.ca and provide your Full Name and Email Address in the subject, or send me a separate email.
For a monthly membership I do accept e-transfers on a month by month basis, which must be paid by the first day of the month (ie) June's payment is due June 1. Please send your e-transfer to info@journey2wellness.ca.
Q: Am I locked into anything if I sign up?
A: Absolutely NOT! All memberships are month to month and you only pay for the month in advance. If you don't want to continue, just email me at info@journey2wellness.ca and I'll cancel any future payments. No strings attached and no questions asked.
